Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 21, 2026
Palm Beach Placements is a sales recruiting practice operated by Sugarbyte LLC. Recruiting runs on trust, and that starts with being clear about what we collect and what we do with it. This policy explains how we handle information from candidates, client companies, and visitors to palmbeachplacements.com.
1. Information We Collect
Candidates
When you apply for a role, submit a resume, or speak with us about your search, we may collect:
- Name, email address, phone number, and location
- Resume, work history, education, certifications, and references
- Compensation expectations and target role criteria
- Interview notes and our own evaluation of fit
- Behavioral assessment results, where you choose to complete one
Client Companies
When you engage us to fill a role, we collect business contact details, information about the position and your hiring process, and the records needed to manage our agreement with you.
Site Visitors
If you submit the contact form on our site, we receive whatever you enter into it, which is typically your name, email, phone number, and message. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Match candidates to open roles and present qualified candidates to clients
- Communicate with you about opportunities, searches, and next steps
- Prepare candidate summaries, profiles, and assessment reports for clients
- Operate, maintain, and improve our services
- Meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Assessment and Report Data
We offer behavioral and personality assessments as part of our placement work. If you complete one, the responses you provide and the report generated from them are treated as part of your candidate record.
Assessment results are one input among many. They are not a clinical, psychological, or medical evaluation, and they are not used as the sole basis for any hiring decision.
4. How We Share Information
We share information only where it serves the purpose you came to us for, or where we are required to:
- With client companies. We share candidate materials with employers considering you for a role. We seek your agreement before submitting you to a specific employer.
- With service providers. Vendors that host our site, deliver our email, and process form submissions handle data on our behalf and are limited to that purpose.
- For legal reasons. Where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, our people, or the public.
- In a business transfer. If the business is sold or reorganized, records may transfer as part of that transaction.
5. Third Party Services
This site is served through GitHub Pages, loads typefaces from Google Fonts, and routes contact form submissions through FormSubmit. Each of these providers may log basic technical data such as IP address and browser type as part of delivering the service. Their own privacy terms govern that activity.
6. Data Retention
We retain candidate records for as long as needed to support your search and any future opportunity that may fit, and to satisfy our legal and recordkeeping obligations. You may ask us to remove your record at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
7. Your Choices and Rights
You may ask us to:
- Tell you what information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date
- Delete your record
- Stop contacting you about opportunities
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state or national privacy law. Reach out and we will honor what applies to you. You can opt out of our emails at any time by replying and telling us to stop.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take the responsibility seriously and limit access to those who need it.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for working professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practice changes. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
11. Contact Us
Questions about this policy, or requests about your information, can be sent through the contact form on our homepage and we will respond directly.
